Memanfaatkan Microsoft Word 2007   Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Geometri di SMP

Geometry in middle school instructional media developed as the business implications of achieving the Standard of Competence and competency base as listed in the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC). Development of instructional media geometry is determined also by the method and type of learning approach that teachers do. On the other hand, computers today are widely used in schools. Use of computers, particularly Microsoft Word 2007 is one of the efforts of teachers in the use of existing learning resources. Utilization of Microsoft Word will make a positive contribution to both the teacher and her students. Use of Microsoft Word 2007 software can be done easily because the software is available on all new-generation computers. Skills make the wake-up the foundations of geometry using Microsoft Word 2007 facilities can be developed to make up a more complex geometry. Because Microsoft Office 2007 comes SmartArt Graphic so that users can create different kinds of graphs. With SmartArt graphics tools we can create different kinds of geometry dimensions 2 or 3 dimensions. With SmartArt graphics devices we also \ can do animation in the wake as well as add text for explanation barbagai kinds of images. Skills can be improved to study aspects of geometry with a higher standard of competence.  

From the above description can be concluded as follows:


a) Use Microsoft Word 2007 relatih easily done by the teacher because the software is there almost every new computer generation.


b) The use of Microsoft Word 2007 will add motovasi and pleasure in studying geomatri.


c) Students can use Microsoft Word 2007 to study the geometry either independently or through collaboration.


d) Using Microsoft Word 2007, students can conduct an investigation or investigations of concepts of geometry.


e) Using Microsoft Word 2007, students can perform activities of problem solving or solving mathematical problems.


f) By using Microsoft Word 2007, students can communicate its results to both the teacher and to other friends.
